Nobody moves to Corrales for the commute. They move for the part where you turn off Corrales Road and the noise just quits. Where the ditches run in the spring, the cottonwoods go gold in October, and there are horses in the yard down the lane like it's nothing. Where you can see stars from your own driveway.
